This 4-day series of workshops will cover a variety of high-performance computing related subjects, such as Introductions to OpenMP, MPI, Posix Thread programming, CUDA programming of GPUs and more. Courses will be offered in a split-stream format. The timing of the Summer School was chosen directly before the HPCS 2013, Canada's foremost Supercomputing Conference, which takes place June 2-6, 2013 at the University of Ottawa.
Please note: Seating is limited. We will send out reminders to those registered before the event and re-assign unconfirmed spots. Please make sure that you attend if you have registered. If you register and do not attend, you are denying a spot to your peers.
Important: Most of the workshops have a hands-on lab component that will be conducted on servers supplied by the HPC consortia. Since the lecture rooms do not provide desktop computers, please bring your laptop if you want to participate in the exercises.
